SMS / USE & LICENSING

Access follows your organization licence.

This page explains product access rules. Commercial use requires a valid licence and the customer agreement supplied by Ambarix. It does not replace a negotiated agreement, privacy notice, data-processing terms or a statement of work.

Endpoint allocation

A licence specifies an organization, purchased endpoint seats, permitted operations, expiry and status. Enrollment consumes one endpoint seat. Deactivation releases that seat and prevents new authorizations for that enrollment. A new enrollment is required before a deactivated endpoint can rejoin.

Organization roles

Organization owners approve membership and roles. Technicians can request authorizations for permitted diagnostics. Licence administrators manage enrollment and software access. Viewers have read access to the permitted account records. Ambarix platform administration does not itself grant access to execute customer diagnostics.

Authorized diagnostics

Use SMS only on systems and network routes you are authorized to administer. The supplied diagnostic client exposes a fixed set of bounded operations. It is not an unrestricted remote shell or a general file retrieval service. The customer supplies network reachability and the necessary permissions to run Windows diagnostics and packet capture.

Evidence and retention

The customer controls saved diagnostic files, output-folder access, local retention, backups and onward sharing. Ambarix account and licensing administration does not include storage of those diagnostic reports and captures. Read the data-handling statement for the implemented boundaries.

Expiry, suspension and renewal

Expired or suspended licences cannot issue new diagnostic authorizations or provide customer release downloads. Existing authorizations expire within five minutes. Already started bounded diagnostics can finish. Ambarix can renew a licence by changing its expiry and capacity under the applicable commercial agreement. Payment and tax processing are arranged separately from this release’s licence ledger.

Software and intellectual property

Download access does not by itself grant redistribution, sublicensing or source-code publication rights. No claim of a filed or granted patent is made on this page.

Release status

The v2 package is a controlled release. Customer downloads appear only after Ambarix enables the applicable release and the organization satisfies its licence and access requirements. Production use follows the acceptance and support arrangements agreed for the customer deployment.
